Silver Lake is one of the best-kept secrets in south Everett. It’s a quiet, swimmable lake surrounded by neighborhoods and parks, just off I-5 and minutes from Mill Creek. Here’s how to make the most of a stay.
Get on the water
Silver Lake is popular for swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding and fishing, and power boats aren’t allowed, so the water stays calm. Bring your own kayak or paddleboard and launch right from the dock at our Silver Lake House. Life jackets are provided.
Walk the lake loop
The loop around Silver Lake is about 2.2 miles. Along the way you’ll pass two public parks with swimming areas and a disc golf course. It’s an easy morning walk with coffee, or a sunset stroll after dinner.
Fish from the dock
Bring a rod and a Washington fishing license and try your luck right off the private dock. Early morning and evening are the calmest times on the water.
